About COLABORATORY
COLABORATORY is an internship program sponsored by the Portland Advertising Federation and eight Portland agencies. Eight college juniors and seniors will be selected from a national pool of applicants, winning the opportunity to participate in a solid and thrilling real-life agency experience this summer, July 1-August 17. This will be a dynamic, intense, team-oriented program with a focus on work and fun, Portland-style!

  • Eight students will be chosen after an extensive application process
  • Each student will spend two weeks in three different agencies; internship is six weeks in duration
  • Two teams of four will compete to develop a campaign pitch for a real client
  • Students with interests in writing, design, interactive, multimedia, production, strategy and account planning, public relations, and account management are encouraged to apply

Google Trends: Oregon Ducks

Even though Tuesday night’s loss was a major disappointment to Duck Fans and we will probably continue feeling the pain until we win a major game (outside the conference), it has sure been a great ride!  And Google Trends agrees!

Coverage, buzz and publicity for the ducks has increased drastically over the year due to the success of the Pac-10 2010 champions.  Now if only we could help non Oregonians pronounce Oregon correctly…

How long can/will Britney Spears stay on Yahoo’s Top 10 list?!?

Yahoo recently published their 2010 Year in Review highlighting the top events, pop culture and most popular search terms in 2010.  Happy to report Ms. Britney Spears is still on the top 10 searches in Yahoo!, but she has dropped down to the #10 spot.  Any predictions for what Britney should do next to ensure she remains on the list for 2011? I’m thinking running for VP…

Yes it is true, Britney Spears is no longer the most searched upon term in Yahoo, Michael Jackson took over the number one spot.  Britney has been shunned to the 5th spot after a 4 year reign behind Michael, The Twilight Saga, WWE and Megan Fox.
