Hi, my name’s Rachel. I currently live in Portland, OR, but greatly miss my home town of Fairbanks, AK. While making my daily commute to work, I often reminisce of the times when I would travel to school by dog sled. I miss those dogs! I still have one living with me now, but she’s not good for much, other than just lying around and eating food. The day I can strap her up to my sled and “mush” to work is the same day Kurt starts using Twitter.
If I’m sitting at my desk, I’m most likely listening to Chris Brown. I like to keep a picture of him close to my heart so that I can stare at it while waiting for my WebCEO reports to finish running. Oh my gosh, I just also saw Lil’ Weezy in concert and think I might be in love.
When I’m not listening or dancing to some ill hip hop, I love spending my free time playing sports, especially softball with the Anvil crew. I know I didn’t make it to any of the games, but I REALLY wanted to be there, trust me.
I’m pretty sure my laugh is famous and is easily the most recognizable laugh in the office. I often hear stories of people plugging away on their computers when they’ll suddenly be startled by something I found funny. It happens quite often, though, so it’s not an alarming startled feeling, more of a humorous, “oh, Rachel” silent chuckle.
