Hello. I’m David. DO NOT call me Dave. Trust me on this one. I have been trained in the art of retaliation by the legendary suburban wood ninjas of Washington state. Other names that I kindly request you do not call me include: D-Flex, Kramer, and “that guy who keeps falling off his bike during the cyclo-cross race”. I’ve been here at Anvil for about a year now and when I’m not busy “securing” my bike to cables that can be easily snipped with arts and crafts scissors, I’m probably answering questions about web design or playing music you’ve never heard of over Anvil’s sound system.
There are many awesome perks of working here: watching double rainbows outside the lunchroom window, mastering the Crank That dance move on the Kinect, but my absolute favorite is when I get to dress up in my finest flannel shirts for client meetings. Let me tell you. I look sharp as a tack, the ultimate combination of brains and beauty.
Finally, I would just like to share that in the grand scheme of things, I consider myself to be a very lucky man. Not everyone finds their true love in life, but I can safely say that I have found mine…Angry Birds! Man…the rush I get when the bird hits the wood (or better yet the pig!) keeps me going on a daily basis. I even convinced by two best friends to do a cover of the theme song for me on my birthday. Don’t they rock?!
